BTW, I just tried a couple of things on pmwiki.org. The following markup
renders strangely:

[@fred
barney
@]

[@wilma
betty@]blah blah blah

I would expect that to end up as:

fred
barney

wilma
bettyblah blah blah

but what I get is:

fred
barney
wilma
betty
blah blah blah
