What you call 'IPTC buttons' are simply 'Image validation' button. If 
you don't validate the 'Ok' button, nothing will be recorded. This is 
the purpose of the preview: to check that you have uploaded the 
appropriate image, then validate.

The 'Ok' button is physically placed after the IPTC fields because it 
supposed to be the last operation and also this is the traditional 
position for an 'Ok' button.
