[Pmwiki-users] safe mode problem?

Dear list members,

i've been running into strange problems installing PmWiki
at my webspace which is configured with safe modeE.
I worked hard to get all files owned by the account of the webserver,
set all files via chmod to 777.

I can browse the files, but cannot change them. Clicking the Save
Button brings me to the old page. As there are no error messages:

Is there any chance to get an error message?
Do you have any ideas which mistake(s) I've made?
