[Pmwiki-users] more newbie questions, installation, basic setup

  well, i'm pretty well sold on pmwiki for what i want to do, and i've
convinced a few others here to use it as well, so i'm going to write a
really quick and dirty recipe that the others here can use to get this
up and running -- very condensed instructions -- and i'd appreciate
any feedback on what i'm about to write down.

  for install, since they have root priv on their systems (fedora
core):

  1) unload pmwiki tarball into /var/www/html
  2) rename dir to pmwiki/
  3) chmod 2777 pmwiki/ (just temporarily)
  4) browse just once, long enough for apache to create wiki.d/ dir
  5) chmod 755 pmwiki/

and that should do it, at least for a fairly basic install, right?
more to come, none of it particularly deep.
