That would be indeed a solution. How often should I do this :-) ? Image, 
that if a new group is generated and after addind lots of pages the 
groups-user want to have a group specific customization ... could be a lot 
of work.

I must confess, i use still windows at home. I'm on my way to migrate my 
homesite completely to debian - but that takes a time. my isp is running 
red hat, but: may a groupname contain of lowercase-letters only ? I 
couldn't get this out of the docs. If not, how could I restrict this, I 
thought user could create the new group names ?

maybe it's better to change all local-"global"-scripts to 
"local.custom.scriptname.php", that won't collide with any group or opage 
specific customization-script, but then again: I have to do this with every 
cookbook-script I want to use.
