| I agree it's pretty nasty, yet Wikipedia is doing it somehow (but perhaps
| on a limited basis), see http://fr.wikipedia.org .
|
| Also, I think the issue of accented characters in WikiWords is
| affected only by implementations of IRI (Internationalized Resource
| Identifiers) and not IDN (Internationalized Domain Names). PmWiki doesn't
| really care what appears in the domain name if it's ASCII.
| See http://www.w3.org/International/O-URL-and-ident.html.

Of course, IRI and not IDN. My mistake!

|| I tried the URLs/addresses you sent and they seem to work okay for
| me, can you be more specific about what isn't working?
|
| The URL of the ?lh?Co?tAmbig? page is
| http://www.pmichaud.com/work/beta/pmwiki.php/I18N/%d4lh%e0Co%eftAmbig%fc
| does this look correct or work?

Well, when I click on the URL I obtain this message:

"PmWiki can't process your request
'I18N/?"lh? Co??tAmbig??' is not a valid PmWiki page name
We are sorry for any inconvenience."
