I like Dave's OPTION(s) (both of them), so I'd say display a message saying
the page was deleted, then give a 1-2 second delay, and then automatically
forward the user to the CurrentGroup.Page, Main.HomePage if the first
doesn't exist.
Another idea (if possible) would be for PmWiki to make a note of the last
(1-2) pages traverse (like a trail, but of user clicks). If PmWiki detects
"delete" has been entered in page contents, and then page saved, backtrack
to the last page visited (before the deleted one) and send the user there.
That would be the best, but maybe too technical.
Alternate Solution
IF a person is DELETING a page, I think it's fair to say that they might
want to know (or should be advised) if there are any other pages that
contain links to the page they just deleted (if there are any). I won't go
any further than that with my idea. I'll let the rest of you people develop
it if you think it's worth while.
