1.  Where should the browser be taken after deleting a page

Remove the delete function and force users to enter a [[redirect:page]].
(Send a 301 instead instead of the default 302). This is what you recommend
anyway and I think it is a good way to work.

Or maybe [[delete:page]].

Maybe on the way you can solve the problem that a surfer/robot gets a fresh
edit page when visiting a deleted page?
