The new template system is a big step forward in the acceptance and
deployment of PmWiki by non-programmer types. It's definitely going to be
a lot easier for people to design PmWiki sites and share layouts. There
could even be a shared repository of nice skins from which new users could
choose.

My only nitpick about the new templates - and it's a very, very small
nitpick - is the use of html comments as section delimiters. If someone
creates a layout with a WYSIWYG html editor like DreamWeaver, they won't
be able to see the html comments without looking at the source which might
make the process of producing a template slightly harder. Actually, I
should add that I *think* that's the case with WYSIWYG html editors
because I do all of my html editing in a text editor and have little
experience with WYSIWYG editors. Maybe someone with more experience could
chime in here. At any rate, as I said it's a very, very small nitpick on
an otherwise excellent system.
