[Pmwiki-users] Dev Q: $Author Cookie, per Group

How hard is it to set the $Author variable depending on what "Group" you are in?

In some groups (on the same Wiki) I might use "Admin" for my Author name.  In other sections of the site I might use my full real name.  Perhaps other examples might be "Webmaster", "Editor", etc.

I suspect it might be very simple to set a cookie from the GroupTemplate, right inside the html code?

Not sure.
