[pmwiki-devel] Permissions question

Just a couple quick questions abot permissions and PmWiki.

1) Is there a documentation page somewhere listing what the proper
permissions are supposed to be, so I can verify mine are set properly,
and also just to understand how they are supposed to work.

2) I think I understand the numbering system (execute, read, write)
but I wasn't sure exactly what it means by the owner of a file, nor
the group a file belongs to. Or for that matter exactly who the user
is. Could someone explain that a bit or point me to a good tutorial.
