<td ><span style=" font-family:'arial'; font-size: 10pt;">You didn't mention this, but I assume that you deleted the file wiki.d/.pageindex as explained in PmWiki:UTF-8, and that there are pages containing the search terms.<br>

After deleting  this file it now works just fine!<br>
