I couldn't figure out why the Site Analyzer kept saying it couldn't
find the analyze.php file. The reason was the addressing of the URL
on the analyzer page: I failed to include 'pmwiki.php' in the URL.<br>
<br>
The Site Analyzer page dutifully notes that the ENTIRE website URL,
plus the pmwiki.php, should be used to ID which site to analyze.
However, the error message should include a hint for dummies like me
who can't read instructions, e.g. "The analyzer was able to reach the
site, but the site did not respond to the <code class="escaped">?action=analyze</code>
request. You may need to install the <a class="urllink"
href="http://www.pmwiki.org/pmwiki/uploads/Cookbook/analyze.php"
rel="nofollow">analyze.php</a> script, or you may have left the
pmwiki.php out of the URL you entered on this page." (or something
like that). It would have saved me hours of head scratching.<br>
