I use SubEthaEdit on OS X.</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>BBEdit, TextEdit, vi/emacs on the command line, etc.</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>Sounds odd that your .tmpl file doesn't just look like a normal HTML file.
