Hey, it's 'free' -- you get what you pay for as far as user support
goes. In many ways, the open source support of Pmwiki is better
supported than the two proprietory software programs I pay 1000s per
year for in support for. You just have to get used to the notion that
sometimes you'll have to sort it out on your own, sometimes you'll have
to wait, sometimes you'll have to chime in when someone else comes up
with the same problem that you've been running into. <br>

Basically, sometimes things get answered right away, sometimes they
get ignored -- it all depends upon the whim of those with the expertise
to diddle with the code to make fixes, or other users like myself
who've been there done that to respond to your problem or request. <br>

For example, for several months I was part of numerous attempts to
some attention to fixing 'includeurl' working properly beyond just
opening URLs ending in ".htm or .html". Total dead end -- for several
months. Finally, it popped up enough to get someone's attention by
those who had the time and expertise to fix it. <br>

On the other hand, it's been noted that the long sought after
blogging support is finally coming about in large part because someone
is paying to get it done... <br>

Slang, non-standard vocabulary, gratuitous acronyms,... although
suitable while chatting between friends or sending sms over mobiles,
are probably not a good way to deal with a world-wide audience.
Most of the people here strive to better learn "languages" like php,
html, css, javascript, regular expressions, wiki syntax,...
Please consider that one more language in involved in the forum:
English, quite simply. And it's knowledge is not to be given for
granted.
