Not sure I understand why we should not rename pmwiki.php to index.php
(as I did :) ). Thus I don't understand why pmwiki just doesn't ship
with index.php standard.<br>

This assumes that the webserver has write permissions to the pmwiki
home directory, which isn't true in many installations. It also
means that the webserver would own the resulting index.php script,
which isn't a good idea either.
