[pmwiki-users] "/e" in Cookbook / ExternalLinks2

Noted the /e parameter - perhaps the very same one that causes issues with
PHP7.2 - in:
https://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/Cookbook/ExternalLinks2

Should/can this be fixed, or is there a recommended alternative?
