[pmwiki-users] fastcgi - (persistent) login not possible - sessionproblems?

Hello

My hosting provider upgraded the php release to 5.4... (from 5.3).
Unfortunalty now I have a very strange behavior of the website, which  
I have to debug more in deep.

I have the possiblity to run the old version of php with fastcgi.
As expected the features run correctly
B U T:  I can't login anymore, I have to enter the password with any anter.

Is there a known reason for this behavior?
It would be nice to be able to correct this "error", befor searching  
for the php 5.4. problems.
