Ah, that's wonderful!  I can't tell you how many times I've struggled with
unintentional <pre>...</pre> that causes horizontal scrolling.  I'm very
pleased that you've figured out a way to avoid that in triad!  And my
"squished sidebar" is a thing of the past.
