[pmwiki-users] Line Breaks in Skin, using <!--markup: directive

I'm using the <!--markup--> directive for the menu in a skin.

<td class="topmenubox"><!--markup:[[Not Long Enough 
Services->TooShort]]--></td>


Most of the menu items are two lines long, but a few are a bit too short 
to break, and look odd.

I tried replacing the appropriate space with \\ , with no luck.

Any ideas? I haven't yet tried EnableHTML.
