[pmwiki-users] edit problem in pmwiki

Hi there,

I am very new to pmwiki (or any wiki for that matter), and don't even
know much of php. I installed pmwiki on

http://www.cs.cornell.edu/w8/~yogi/pmwiki/pmwiki.php?n=Main.HomePage

Everything is fine as long as I don't provide edit passwords. When I
do, I can view the page as in

http://www.cs.cornell.edu/w8/~yogi/pmwiki/pmwiki.php?n=Computer.LinuxInGeneral

and when I edit it, it asks for edit password as in

http://www.cs.cornell.edu/w8/~yogi/pmwiki/pmwiki.php?n=Computer.LinuxInGeneral?action=edit

but when I do provide the password, it takes me to the page

http://www.cs.cornell.edu/~yogi/pmwiki/pmwiki.php?n=Computer.LinuxInGeneral

whose url is missing the w8 part of the path. This file is, of course,
not found, and it gives me error. May be I need to set some "base edit
variable" or something...

In my local/config.php file, I have these variables set

$ScriptUrl = 'http://www.cs.cornell.edu/w8/~yogi/pmwiki/pmwiki.php';
$PubDirUrl = 'http://www.cs.cornell.edu/w8/~yogi/pmwiki/pub';

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
