[pmwiki-users] Is "quiet redirect" broken?

... or do I just not understand it?

I am using PmWiki 2.2.0. I have set:
$EnableRedirectQuiet = 1;

in config.php. The redirect line on the source page reads:
(:redirect quiet=1 Vienna-2009-02:)

but I also tried:
(:redirect Vienna-2009-02 quiet=1:)

The docs at http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/PmWiki/PageDirectives indicate 
that quiet=1 works, but the docs bundled with the distribution at 
http://neil.eton.ca/wiki/index.php/PmWiki/PageDirectives  do not mention 
it and have an elaborate scheme described at the bottom of the page for 
suppressing the redirect link.
