Ok, figured this out, I just needed to add ?action=login to my existing left side menu link to Clients.HomePage. I should have realized that. Then I removed any read attr for Clients.HomePage. It works!!

The only quirk is the text that appears after the redirect "(redirected from Clients.HomePage)". That isn't so bad itself, but the words "Clients.HomePage" is a hyperlink with ?action=edit added. Not sure I understand why. But my real question is how to remove the redirected text or at least stop Clients.HomePage from be an active link.
