Since my webserver is on my LAN, I just mount the Apache folder and do 
drag copies.

The non-PmWiki web content is maintained using Dreamweaver with its 
built-in FTP client. In Dreamweaver I just denote the PmWiki folders as 
"not to be synchronized".

The FTP server on the Apache box is FileZilla working through a private 
port, so it is not accessible outside the LAN.

If I am outside the LAN and need to make changes, I make a VPN 
connection and operate as if I were local.
