Addendum: rendering is much slower, anyway. The 0,2s apply to my 
really old 1GHz PIII. On this machine it takes 0,6s to render the 
simple page "PmWiki/PmWikiPhilosophy" - three times the directory 
scanning amount. The webhoster machine needs 0,08s - compared to 
0,02s gives a similar ratio.

P.S.: PmWiki/ReleaseNotes takes >4s CPU time on the PIII.
