If a new member account is created via zaptoolbox - register, the profiles page and the members/authors name are set correctly to the registered name, but for the members/authors name it drops the first letter.
e.g.  account created with name "abc" = profile page is "abc", but "you are registered as "bc" and author is "bc". The same happens with the login-snippet.
