[pmwiki-users] Backup

I asked the group here a couple of days ago about backing up after I  
lost my wiki.d directory to a site attack. After learning my lesson I  
am working on figuring out backup strategies for my pmWiki site.

How do I execute the "tar -zcvf  ~/wiki-backup-`date +%Y%m`.tar.gz   
wiki/" command on my web hosts servers? I am on a Mac and can do it  
on my local network using the terminal application, but am at a loss  
how to do it on the web host server. The host is a Mac OS X server  
running apache.

Keep in mind I am a low tech wiki administrator so simple  
instructions are best.
