I remembered seeing the translation syntax on Site/AuthForm, tried it (see 
below) and it works, probably because it manages to syntactically separate the 
question mark from the link arrow -> I'd still appreciate if anyone could clue 
me in to why the ? -> combination was producing "Site/Test?" instead of just 
"Test?" for the link text...

[[$[Test?] -> Main/Test]]
