[pmwiki-users] Bug in ftime?

I've been getting bugs as a result of the ftime markup expression and
have been trying to resolve them but seem to have a glitch...

I understood

{(ftime '<timestamp>' '<format>')} should output what is desired.

However on the Main.WikiSandbox I'm getting

It's causing problems on a couple sites.  Can you explain what I'm doing wrong?

Unless I"m mistaken, this is both before and after implementation into core.
