Excellent idea. I especially like the idea that it's not fixed
to a specific markup, but remains context dependent.

Only that I know it's requested from time to time, so wanted to
demonstrate ways of doing it.
But your analysis is entirely correct, and I think that page
break specifiers should be left as options to ?action=pdf and
not coded directly into the markup.
