Hans, I tried your rework of the pagelist template (with and without
the %%) and it does not solve the problem for IE.  Of course, it still
works fine in FireFox.  But in IE, for some reason, only the last list
item is not bold.

Thanks so much for taking the time to look and offer a solution!

PS. Are there any concerns to consider in upgrading from a very late
Beta to 2.1? Might as well do it before my site goes live.
