[pmwiki-users] menus.php and IE

Hi
My menus.php did not work anymore since some time (don't know since
when exactly). I fixed it with an .htaccess
AddType text/x-component .htc
and the IE7 script by Dean Edwards.
How can i avoid using the IE7 script by Dean Edwards?
http://dean.edwards.name/IE7/
I find this some kind of overkill. Beside this IE is still complaining saying:
*Access is denied to http://.............csshover.htc*
Is there a solution besides not using IE?
