Why is PmWiki distributed without wiki.d/ directory?
Or alternatively: can PmWiki create the directory if it doesn't exist?

Text suggestion: Copy the sample configuration file from docs/sample- 
config.php to
the local/ subdirectory.
Rename the file to: config.php.
Then edit it to suit your preferences
