[pmwiki-users] Core Version Numbers

As I understand it, the current version is 2.1beta24 (or higher), but several
people are calling it 2.1.24.

When 2.1 is released, and the inevitable bug fixes happen, there will be a
2.1.24 release. (Okay, being really pessimistic, but there are people using
lower beta releases.)

This is going to cause confusion.

I recommend that version 2.1 be skipped and go right to 2.2 .
