Pagelist is being used for a whole lot of things; I think that
it (like WikiTrails) is one of PmWiki's most useful innovations.  :-)

What's the form of pagelist that you're using on the sidebar?
It might be worthwhile for you to create a custom list= option
that displays exactly what you want -- see Cookbook.SearchPatterns.
(Although, looking at it now, I think that page needs to be
reworked a bit... :-(  )
