[pmwiki-users] Firefox view source and conditional wiki-text, in Site.Sidebar

Firefox's View Source command doesn't give me the HTML source of 
conditional wikitext in my sidebar.

I'm working on a fancier sidebar, and rather than duplicate everything 
and work on a separate copy, I've used

(:if authid:)
##all the new stuff, including
%sidehead%User: {$AuthId}  ##this works

(:if:)
the old stuff that already works.


The page shows as expected. When logged in, I see the experimental 
stuff, and when not logged in I don't.

But when I ViewSource (hoping to find why the experimental stuff isn't 
quite doing what I want) the HTML includes only the non-conditional text.

Any ideas why not?
