[pmwiki-users] A Couple of Category Questions

I use categories a lot in my journal wiki and have come up against a
couple of problems, which are essentially caused by mistyping category
names.

I think this has been asked before, but I can't find and answer:

Is there any way to list all the categories defined in a wiki?

I think I could get all the unique category names by iterating through
the wiki pages and building an array of categories as I went, but is
there a more efficient method. My goal would be to correct pages where I
have entered something like [[!Bike ride]] instead of [[!Cycling]].

If I can get a list of all categories, I can build a pagelist of
categories with incorrect names and correct them.

Question 2:

What would be a good method of restricting authors to only use a
particular set of defined categories e.g. an edit form with a
pre-defined list of categories.

My current workaround is to define an edit template which contains all
my common categories and then delete thos that don't apply when I create
the page.

Ian.
