[pmwiki-users] Attach / upload question - file name pattern affecting display?

I did a test in the Sandbox today, playing with alternate forms of the
"attach" syntax.  In the process I discovered an issue about which I'd
appreciate insights:

 

Attach:rocks.jpg

- works as expected, displaying the JPEG

 

Attach:20060118-310-Red Rock Crossing near Sedona AZ-resized.jpg

- Shows a link up to the "k" in "Rock", with the rest as plain text

 

Attach:20060118-310-Red%20Rock%20Crossing%20near%20Sedona%20AZ-resized.j
pg

- Shows a link with the complete file name rather than the image itself

 

I would have expected the last example to work like the first, i.e., to
show the image.

My inference is that there is some pattern that is used to identify
image-type files, and that the presence of the "%20" (encoded space)
causes that to fail.

Comments?

 

I'd be happy to update the documentation based on the results of this
discussion.
