[pmwiki-users] {$Title} and {$Titlespaced} Page Variables broken?

Well, never mind - NOT broken on the PmWiki site, after all!  Can anyone
speculate why, aside from "Tegan screwed it up" this problem *does* exist on
my installations?  PmWiki V2.1.5.
