[pmwiki-users] Reducing file sizes

I am about to upgrade to V2 from V1. This is a result of excesing SPAM to my V1 wiki. 

Although I have been deleting the SPAM I notice that the page files are massive. This is presumably because thay contain all of the edit data since the pages were created. 

How do I remove the excess data and just leave the current page data?
