Sorry for bothering the list with LDAP again, yet i try to improve the
functionality...

what i can't get to work (or imagine a way to do) is how to produce a
variable in a script. E.g.:

authuser.php should put the ldap_errno (error code of ldap_bind) in a
variable that i can work with (FmtPV most likely, but i am not that sure).

But how is that done?
I guess it can not be done in an addition, as the error has to be
retrieved immediatly after the bind.

would anyone else vote for a more verbose ldap error handling? ;)
