Such a problem shouldn't appear normally when the plugins are correctly
installed, according to instructions on the Cookbook pages, if I haven't
done some logic errors in my instructions in English.

The only reason of the problem I can think of at the moment is that you
did not put the line below:
   $WPCategoriesAutoBacklinks = 0;
in your config.php (note also that it should be above the
'include_once()' line), when you changed the Category.GroupFooter page
to contain (:backlinks:). If that's the reason, then looking at the page
you sent I suppose you should also run the FastCategories-starter.php
script, described on the Cookbook/FastBacklinks page.

If that doesn't solve the problem, please email me with as much
information as possible considering all the steps you've performed to
install those scripts in your wiki - without that I won't be able to
help you much more. The information should be especially:
* was the wiki alive (and actively used) for a long time before you
installed the scripts?
* what other recipes were installed before?
* what WPCategories and FastBacklinks options did you change (set) in
your config.php
* what's your Category.GroupFooter page contents.
* did you run FastBacklinks-starter.php

PS. I'm leaving for a 2 week trip in a couple of days, so I might not
have time to read your response till my comeback. It might however be
possible that other people on the list may help you, but it might be
difficult to catch their attention. By that time, reading carefully
through the installation instructions and other notes of my recipes and
comparing them with the steps you performed may help you.
