No, it then grabs the edit password from Site.GroupAttributes.

The simple approach is to simply set the Site.SideBar edit password
to match the global edit password.  (Yes, if the global edit password
is changed one would have to change the Site.SideBar password to
match again.)

I'm still considering the possibility of being able to tell a
page to just use the attributes that exist on another page.  Then
we could set Site.SideBar to follow the attributes of Main.HomePage
(or whatever the default is) and all would be well.
