I agree, at least for the moment.  I've gone ahead and
thrown together a sample recipe for this at
http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/Cookbook/Forms.  It's *very*
preliminary and needs a lot of work, but it gives an idea 
of the direction in which I think forms handling (at least
for PmWiki internals) will go.
