[pmwiki-users] refering PITS/00175 and v2.x

Hello,
Currently a table with a space as the cell content renders as <td> </td> 
instead of the intended <td>&nbsp;</td>.

I have something like:
th { border-bottom: 1px solid red;}
defined in a css file.
Now Firefox displays the bottom boder as red But in Konqueror cells that are 
empty are NOT bordered red. By inserting &nbsp; it get displayed as intended.

Since this being a browser problem, Unless there are some better reasons not 
to, Could  table with a space as the cell content rendered as <td>&nbsp;</td> 
by default.
