[pmwiki-users] Idea: Opera-like address field on the wiki page

Today there's usually a search field (top right corner at pmwiki.org)
where the user can enter search terms. How about making this field a bit
more functional?
In Opera you can use the address bar for both entering URIs and doing
searches. Typing "pmwiki.org" will direct you to http://pmwiki.org,
whereas typing "g pmwiki.org" will do a Google search for "pmwiki.org".
So maybe we could do something similar with the search field? The exact
analog with Opera would be that the search field is actually converted to
an address field, i.e. if you enter "Main/Home page", you will be directed
to the page "Main/HomePage". In order to search, you'd have to write
something such as "s home page" (which would search for "home page").
Alternatively, we could let the default of the field be to search, so
simply writing "home page" does a search as before, but if you instead
type: "a Main/home page", you're directed to Main/HomePage. As a second
example, entering "a other page" would direct you to {$Group}/OtherPage.
Does this make sense? Is it too advanced for normal users?
