Probably something like:

    if ($action=='edit' 
        && $_POST['post'] 
        && strpos($_POST['text'], '(:blog') !== false
        && !preg_match('/\\.\\d+$/', $pagename)) {
      $EnablePost = 0;
      $MessagesFmt[] = "Cannot post a blog entry for non-numeric pagenames";
    }
