How and where do you modify the options for newpagebox?

|(:newpagebox:)| allows a number of options:

    base=/pagename/       -- create page relative to /pagename/
    template=/pagename/   -- use /pagename/ as template for new page
    button=/text/         -- use /text/ as button label

I tried things like (:newpagebox:button='bowser') with no success
