This is a great idea. It avoids the embarrassment of an unintentional link 
to a less-than-savory site.

You can use subdomains if you need more than one fake URL:
http://first.example.com/
http://second.example.com/
http://a.really.ridiculous.example.com/

An you can also use it for fake email addresses as in:
pmwiki-users at example.com
fredsmith at example.org
