Being a follower of the PrincipleOfLeastAstonishment, IMHO I think
this is bad practice anyway (hide the file name). Better to just write:

  Link to file: Attach:file.txt

...which also would render prettier ("file.txt" without the Attach:
and with a file icon) with the proposal I sent to the list a couple
days ago :-)

People have been using [[Attach:file.txt file.txt]] which is just a way
to hide the "Attach:" text anyway, this is clearly an anti-pattern.
The "Attach:" markup should not render for files that are already
uploaded, because a link named "Attach:file.txt" on the wiki makes
it look like the name of the file to be downloaded by clicking on
the link is "Attach:file" with extension "txt".

Some students using my wiki installation have already been
confused by this, and I don't know how, somebody actually succeeded
in uploading a "file" named "attach:Transacoes.htm" ; yes, that is
the NAME of the file :-) .. that's what actually got me thinking.

Summing up, I think breaking compatability with
[[Attach:file.txt link to file]] is actually a GOOD thing!
